THE ROCK GARDEN - An astonishing creation of Nek Chand aroad inspector, Rock Garden is the most significant landmark of Chandigarh. Spread over 64 acres of forested land near the Capitol Complex, the garden has numerous animal and humanoid figures built of discarded material. Attracting people from all over the world, the garden is an brazen realm of natural and manmade creativity.

ROSE GARDEN - A part of Leisure Valley, a garland of gardens with many theme gardens developed in this valley, the Rose Garden is most famous of all. Located in the Sector 16 of Chandigarh, the garden is spread over an area of 25 hectares. Containing over a thousand varieties of roses, it is one of the largest in Asia.

GOVERNMENT MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY - Located in Sector 10 of Chandigarh, the Government museum and art gallery has a fine collection of stone sculptures belonging to the Gandhara School of art. Other exhibits include fossils and artefacts belonging to prehistoric times and works of modern art and miniature paintings.
